Vanessa Rudloff, Art Relations Manager at the Angad Arts Hotel, will take us on a tour of artwork by local artists currently on display in galleries throughout this historic property. There are over 50 artists in four distinct exhibition areas. Vanessa will talk about the curation process and art programming at the hotel as well as give an update on developments in the Grand Center Arts District. She will provide background about the history of the 100-year old building which has a rich past as the site of the original Missouri Theatre, where the famed Radio City Music Hall Rockettes first got their start. There will be an opportunity (if you choose) to met casually following the tour to share informal conversation while enjoying a beverage or snack at the Art Bar located atop the hotel, one of the city’s most spectacular rooftop venues and views.
